The Diocese of Oakland celebrated the Chinese Lunar New Year with a Mass Feb. 1 at the Cathedral of Christ the Light in Oakland. Marking the Lunar New Year on Jan. 29, Bishop Robert J. Brennan and Bishop Earl K. Fernandes offered the faithful a special message with their blessings. Story through the link.

The African American Pastoral Center invites you to celebrate the rich unity and harmony of the People of God in the diversity of our origins and traditions! We are sharing this month's Saints and we enthusiastically encourage and invite a representative of EACH of the communities to submit the name and year of death information for saints of their ethnic group.
