This monthly prayer-breakfast features a presentation by a locally or nationally known Catholic speaker and provides a unique opportunity for Catholic professional and business people to pray together, to grow in their understanding of the Catholic faith, to be encouraged to live the call to holiness in the workplace, and to network with other Catholic business professionals.
 

Catholic Charismatic Renewal

Responds to the call that we are the portion of that Body of Christ which God has chosen to display His power through the mature exercise of the Charismatic Gifts of the Holy Spirit as they glorify Jesus. They provides environments wherein we can learn to praise God and obey the Holy Spirit in the ministry of these Charismatic Gifts.

Companions in Ignatian Spirituality

Companions in Ignatian Service and Spirituality is a unique program, which responds to the thirst of many Catholics to deepen their spiritual life as they give of their time and talent to serve those in need – the poor, the marginalized and the socially vulnerable. The mission of the Companions in Ignatian Service and Spirituality program is to enrich the experience of committed volunteers, fifty or older, involved in community service, through a program of prayer and Ignatian spiritual reflection. Ignatian Companions engages women and men, retired and semi-retired, who have a desire to serve those most marginalized in our communities while deepening their spiritual foundations.

Deepens reverence and love for the Holy Eucharist, by fostering prayer and spiritual growth in individuals and families, and encouraging, organizing, and participating in various Eucharistic devotions in parishes/deaneries, which may include, but are not limited to, Eucharistic processions, Forty Hours Devotion and exposition of the Holy Eucharist, in collaboration with other organizations.

Cursillo Movement

For some, it's a new breath of life, a dynamic new expression of the Holy Spirit. For others, it's a chance to examine their faith and learn different perspectives from other Christians. Part of the purpose of the Oakland Cursillo Weekend is to help us recognize Christ's action in our personal lives and in the lives of others. This is the purpose of true church. We rarely get an opportunity like this weekend to experience authentic Christian Community first-hand.
 

Divine Mercy Ministry & Apostolate

Through the Grace and help of the Almighty God, the source of all goodness and mercy, we are resolved to collaborate and join together to propagate and spread to the parishes of the Diocese of Oakland the authentic devotion, the ministry and spirituality of the Divine Mercy.

Ignatian Spirituality Project

The Ignatian Spiritual Project offers men and women who are homeless and in recovery from addiction the opportunity to change their lives. Ignatian spirituality and Ignatian retreats are an effective and important resource in laying a foundation of hope which can lead to further and long lasting transformation.

Magnificat SOTI

Magnificat, a ministry for Catholic women, hosts prayer breakfasts four times a year. These breakfasts feature a personal testimony of the speaker's experience of the transforming love of Christ in their own lives. There will be time for fellowship and prayer and praise music which will help Catholic women open more and more to the Holy Spirit through a deeper commitment of their lives to Jesus as Lord and to help each other deepen their lives in the Holy Spirit through their love, service, and sharing the good news of salvation. 

Maryknoll Regional Mission House

In addition to housing our regional administrative offices, the Mission House serves a gathering place for mission minded people and hosts meetings, workshops, training programs and retreats.
 

Order of Malta Clinic of Northern California

For many people health care is a luxury that is so far out of reach, even check-ups for the most basic preventative diseases such as diabetes and high blood pressure are not even possible. Our clinic is providing a safety net in Oakland to help address basic health care needs for those without health insurance, before these diseases become a serious issue.

Society of St. Vincent de Paul - Alameda County

A nonprofit organization that provides direct assistance to needy men, women and children in Alameda County. Our emphasis is on volunteer-driven, one-to-one assistance, in collective fellowship and spiritual growth

Society of St. Vincent de Paul - Contra Costa County

Provides person-to-person service of time, talent, and resources to help our neighbors in need regardless of gender, national origin, race, or religion and brings aid and comfort to those who are poor and suffering in Contra Costa County

Saint Paul Street Evangelization

A grassroots, non-profit organization, dedicated to responding to the mandate of Jesus to preach the Gospel to all nations by taking our Catholic Faith to the streets. We do this in a non-confrontational way, allowing the Holy Spirit to move in the hearts of those who witness our public Catholic presence.

California Catholic Conference

The California Catholic Conference is the staff office of the California Catholic Conference of Bishops. It is the official voice of the Catholic community in California's public policy arena.
 

Catholic Relief Services

Carries out the commitment of the Bishops of the United States to assist the poor and vulnerable overseas. We are motivated by the Gospel of Jesus Christ to cherish, preserve and uphold the sacredness and dignity of all human life, foster charity and justice, and embody Catholic social and moral teaching while promoting human development and serving Catholics as they live their faith in solidarity with brothers and sisters around the world. 

United States Conference of Catholic Bishops

The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) is an assembly of the hierarchy of the United States and the U.S. Virgin Islands who jointly exercise certain pastoral functions on behalf of the Christian faithful of the United States. The purpose of the Conference is to promote the greater good which the Church offers humankind, especially through forms and programs of the apostolate fittingly adapted to the circumstances of time and place.
