This monthly prayer-breakfast features a presentation by a locally or nationally known Catholic speaker and provides a unique opportunity for Catholic professional and business people to pray together, to grow in their understanding of the Catholic faith, to be encouraged to live the call to holiness in the workplace, and to network with other Catholic business professionals.

Companions in Ignatian Service and Spirituality is a unique program, which responds to the thirst of many Catholics to deepen their spiritual life as they give of their time and talent to serve those in need – the poor, the marginalized and the socially vulnerable. The mission of the Companions in Ignatian Service and Spirituality program is to enrich the experience of committed volunteers, fifty or older, involved in community service, through a program of prayer and Ignatian spiritual reflection. Ignatian Companions engages women and men, retired and semi-retired, who have a desire to serve those most marginalized in our communities while deepening their spiritual foundations.
Deepens reverence and love for the Holy Eucharist, by fostering prayer and spiritual growth in individuals and families, and encouraging, organizing, and participating in various Eucharistic devotions in parishes/deaneries, which may include, but are not limited to, Eucharistic processions, Forty Hours Devotion and exposition of the Holy Eucharist, in collaboration with other organizations.

Part of the purpose of the Oakland Cursillo Weekend is to help us recognize Christ's action in our personal lives and in the lives of others. This is the purpose of true church. We rarely get an opportunity like this weekend to experience authentic Christian Community first-hand.

Ignatian spirituality and Ignatian retreats are an effective and important resource in laying a foundation of hope which can lead to further and long lasting transformation.
Magnificat, a ministry for Catholic women, hosts prayer breakfasts four times a year. These breakfasts feature a personal testimony of the speaker's experience of the transforming love of Christ in their own lives. There will be time for fellowship and prayer and praise music which will help Catholic women open more and more to the Holy Spirit through a deeper commitment of their lives to Jesus as Lord and to help each other deepen their lives in the Holy Spirit through their love, service, and sharing the good news of salvation.
In addition to housing our regional administrative offices, the Mission House serves a gathering place for mission minded people and hosts meetings, workshops, training programs and retreats.
For many people health care is a luxury that is so far out of reach, even check-ups for the most basic preventative diseases such as diabetes and high blood pressure are not even possible. Our clinic is providing a safety net in Oakland to help address basic health care needs for those without health insurance, before these diseases become a serious issue.
