Arlesa Miles has risen from her own challenges to become a beacon to people counting on the Saint Vincent de Paul Conference at St. Callistus. She has a special touch reaching out to veterans because she knows firsthand the difficulties and challenges veterans are going through. Arlesa is now co-vice president of the St. Callistus’ St. Vincent De Paul Society volunteers. Read her about her journey and beautiful work through the link.

The University announced on December 19, 2022 that it will cease operations in May 2023 after the completion of the spring semester. HNU and Dominican University of California have formalized an agreement by which academic programs at HNU will transfer seamlessly to Dominican after the spring term and accreditation body approvals. Registration for year two of the present cohort is now open. Classes begin January 14, 2023 at Holy Names High School, Oakland. Details through the link.

Students and Alumni Magazines are encouraged to participate in the 2023 St. Juan Diego Collegiate Awards competition! Awards are presented at the Catholic Media Conference, taking place June 6-9, 2023,in Baltimore, and announced in The Catholic Journalist with comments from judges, as well as on the CMA website and on social media. Theatre for youth at Saint Mary’s College is back! After a forced hiatus over the past two years, the Performing Arts Department at Saint Mary’s is excited to announce that we will resume our annual January Term productions for young audiences in 2023.
