Sadly, due to the pandemic, is was not possible to host CYO Cross Country in Fall 2020.
We are hopeful that we will be able to resume CYO Track and Field in Spring 2021 and resume CYO Cross Country in the Fall of 2021.
We continue to include photos and information from the 2019 CYO Cross Country season on this web page as a reminder of this fun and exciting sport that WILL return to our local parks!
As we wait, please continue to pray for those affected by the pandemic and an end to it.
The five-week CYO Cross Country Season each year begins with practices starting mid-August and then with five meets on Friday afternoons on the last two Fridays in September and first three Fridays in October.
CYO Cross Country features teams from parishes and Catholic schools from around Oakland Diocese. CYO Cross Country is an exciting sport combining team scoring and indiviual marks, with runner from Kindergarteners through 8th graders. While it seems nice to brng your dog to a Cross Country meet, the dogs become nervous and can create a hazard for children and the dog. We welcome Service Animals, but ask that other dogs are left at home!
