Welcome to the 2024 - 2025
CYO Basketball Season!CYO basketball will begn again in Fall 2024! Last season, over 9000 players and 900 teams participated in CYO Basketbal, boys and girls, from 3rd through 8th grades.
- PARISH INFORMATION AND SIGNUPS for CYO sports are through individual parish and Catholic school CYO programs.. Contact your parish/Catholic school CYO athletic director for more information.

2024-2025 Boys' CYO Basketball
and Girls' CYO Basketball (in the Diablo Valley League)- Practice may begin: Sunday September 1
- Coaches Certification Workshops: October, to be announced
- Preseason Tournament Play: Friday, Sept. 13 - WEdnesday, Oct 2
- First day of League Play: Friday November 1
- Thanksgiving Tounament Play: Monday, Nov. 25 - Sunday, Dec.1
- Christmas Tournament Play: Monday, Dec. 23 - Thursday, Jan. 2, 2025
- Girls "American Division" Playoff (Diablo Valley CYO League): Friday, Feb. 7 - Saturday Feb 8 and Sunday, February 9

The CYO Scholarship Committee is now inviting applications for the 2025 Bill Ford CYO Scholarships. Four $1000. scholarships will be awarded to 8th grade CYO players who participated during the 2024-2025 school-year seasons. The scholarships are annually funded by a foundation. 2024 Girls' Basketball Playoffs - Spring (West Diocese)
The 2024 Girls' CYO Basketbal Playoffs wwere played in May at Moreau Catholic High School (Hayward), St. Joseph Notre Dame Gym (Alameda) and St. Leadner Gym (San Leandro). Thirty-eight teams in the CYO spring CYO leagues, in the SAC Girls, Metro, EBPL and Northern leagues in 4th through 8th grades participated befor excited crowds and packed gyms
