  The Department of Communication & Community Relations manages external and internal communications for the diocese, including media relations, websites, social media, and The Catholic Voice. This includes community and media relations activities and other general public relations initiatives. The Director serves on the Bishop’s Administrative Council. Additionally, we produce The Weekly, a Chancery publication for the employees, parish staffs, clergy and Religious of the Diocese of Oakland.
