Representatives of Asociación Jóvenes y Adultos Para Cristo (AJAPC), also known as Young Adults for Christ, brought the fruits of their fundraising efforts for Catholic Relief Services (CRS) through Operation Rice Bowl to the Cathedral of Christ the Light on May 8. AJAPC’s more than 200 members are organized in groups in six parishes throughout the Diocese of Oakland: Corpus Christi and Our Lady of Guadalupe in Fremont, St. Edward in Newark, Mary Help of Christians in Oakland, St. Peter Martyr in Pittsburg, and St. Leander in San Leandro. Together, they raised more than $4,200. To learn more about AJAPC, visit www.ajapc.org.
