    The Catholic Community of Pleasanton has 30 choir robes in various sizes that were only used for five days in 2010 during concerts and Masses in Rome, including at St. Peter’s Basilica.   • Catholics Helping Catholics: St. Perpetua Parishioners Raise $24,000 for Fire Victims
    “Catholics helping Catholics” began as the idea of one man at St. Perpetua Parish, who made two phone calls to rally support for those affected by wildfires in Southern California. Parishioners at St. Perpetua launched a fundraising drive to assist St. Elizabeth of Hungary Parish in Altadena, where many parishioners were severely impacted by the fires. After three weeks of collections, St. Perpetua parishioners presented a check for $24,000 to St. Elizabeth’s pastor, Rev. Modesto Perez, to aid those in need.
